I love the cherry in all of its forms: cherry pie, cherry ice cream, cherry jam, cherry in cakes, cherry shortbread, cherry in sauce, etc. And last but not least: the cherry Clafoutis.
This is the right time of year to make cherry Clafoutis for dessert. I have a recipe I used to make when I was a teenager.
Colonia Verde features Latino American cuisine in a charming and softly lit atmosphere located in Brooklyn. The brick-like tile floor is reminiscent of a farmhouse interior. The table, chairs, benches, and bar at the entrance are made of wood, lending a rustic flavor to the decor. The back of the restaurant has a different feel due to its glass roof; it’s a bright winter garden and the open-air patio is an oasis on a warm day. It’s especially pleasant for weekend brunches.
People enter the bakery du pain et des idées because it’s a beautiful store, they buy the bread and viennoiseries because they are mouthwatering, and finally, they come back because it is simply delicious!
