14th arrondissement
Takayuki Nameura, born and raised in Japan, arrived in Paris in 2016 and opened his own restaurant: Montée. And just like that, he received his first Michelin star in 2018!
As usual, when I travel I do my homework in advance and prepare a list of restaurants I wish to try and hopefully share on my blog. Le Cornichon was the first I tried during my last trip to Paris. It was a great kick-off to my sojourn!
One of my last discoveries during my latest trip to Paris was Aux Plumes – a neighborhood little (literally little) restaurant in the 14th arrondissement, where you can taste the touch of the Japanese chef and sous-chef.
This was a total surprise… a totally positive surprise. I found this restaurant by chance. I was searching for a new place to have dinner with friends. La Fourchette, or The Fork, was having a special set menu for the entire week.
