17th arrondissement
Paris is known for its high number of restaurants: there are so many that you can end up starving going from one restaurant to another, not being able to make up your mind.
Fresh lettuce and tomatoes, high quality meat, tasty cheeses, and a fancy and attractive burger are what you can expect at L’Artisan du Burger!
Many of you have asked me where to go in Paris for a good Lebanese meal. Of course, there are many choices, and I haven’t tried them all for two reasons: first, there are too many to try, and second, my own Lebanese cuisine has its fans! 😀
Hi everyone, it’s been a while! I’m so sorry if I’ve neglected you, but the end of the summer has been very busy! After spending four years in Paris, we have decided to try our luck in NY! This is an experience I’ve been wanting for years! Between packing and moving, taking care of the new house, the new school for my daughter, and getting used to the new environment, I didn’t have much time to talk about my culinary experiences.
If we could all eat at our mom’s as we eat at Comme Chez Maman (like my mom’s), the world would be a wonderful place!
Abydoise, with its marine theme, opened in July 2015 in the Champeret area. Chef Patrick Marteau and his wife have chosen the 17th arrondissement to start their dream. It’s a family business. The waiter, who is also part of the family, greeted us pleasantly and very professionally. The atmosphere overall is very friendly.
Thank you to Inspirelle.com to have published my article in their March 17th édition.
At Alléosse, cheese is king in the beautiful store. Made of lightly colored wooden slats, the store’s décor is very elegant and highlights each cheese’s true value. Cow cheese, goat cheese, ewe cheese – no cheese is left behind. Like stars they shine, and like stars they mask a fascinating “behind-the-scenes” life.
Guido de Luca is a surprising little Italian restaurant. Well established in the 17th, it has a simple but elegant decor with an unbelievable menu! The atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly. The owner, Romano De Luca, is a constant in the restaurant, taking good care of the clients, guiding them in their choices with professionalism, and always ready with an anecdote or a little story.
This is our family restaurant in the 17th! You know each family needs a restaurant where they feel comfortable, welcome, and where they know they will eat well and know very well what they will be eating! The “Royal Indien” is this kind of restaurant. The owner is such a nice and pleasant person that you immediately feel comfortable. The food is tasty and the service excellent.
Bistro d’Alberto is a very pleasant little Italian restaurant in the 17th arrondissement. The décor is very warm and cozy, and the welcome is very pleasant and friendly. The service is quick and very professional. The restaurant has been open for 10 years now and Christophe is managing the place like a boss.
