I discovered Aurora Soho four years ago and I still love it! In the middle of Soho New York, the narrow façade is typical of the Soho style, with its metallic stairs leading up to the door. At the entrance, there is a bar and a few tables, and at the back of the restaurant, there is a bigger room with more tables.
You might have been many times to a pizza restaurant and loved their pizza. But how many times did you come face to face with a pizza that says I love you?

I didn’t read about Crom’exquis before going, I just followed my cousin’s suggestion for once. I didn’t know what to expect other than it was a very good restaurant.
It is located on the corner of rue Lavoisier and rue d’Astorg in the 8th arrondissement.
What a fabulous culinary journey I had with Chef Daisuke Kaneko at L’AS!
Chef Daisuke Kaneko, a young chef full of talent and ambition, opened this restaurant in 2012. He uses Japanese ingredients to explore French cuisine.
“From here or elsewhere, the dishes that we have imagined and prepared for this surprise menu tell a story and invite you on a “journey”.
Wow, this place is just WOW! You’ve probably heard many people saying “This is the best sushi restaurant in Tokyo” and they are right. There are many “best” sushi places in Tokyo and Matsukan is for sure one of them.
If we could all eat at our mom’s as we eat at Comme Chez Maman (like my mom’s), the world would be a wonderful place!
Abydoise, with its marine theme, opened in July 2015 in the Champeret area. Chef Patrick Marteau and his wife have chosen the 17th arrondissement to start their dream. It’s a family business. The waiter, who is also part of the family, greeted us pleasantly and very professionally. The atmosphere overall is very friendly.
I landed at Haneda airport on April 1st at 6:20 pm and I was at Nanbantei at 8:30 pm to have my first dinner in Tokyo! My first for this trip of course!
Nanbantei is my favorite place for yakitori. It used to be our family restaurant when living in Tokyo from 2009 to 2012.
I’m in the mood to explore the Asian cuisine in Paris! My last blog was on Soon Grill, a Korean restaurant. This time it’s Japanese fusion-Hongkongese cuisine. The chef at Magokoro is half Japanese, half Hongkongese, and the service is led by a very pleasant woman from Hong Kong.
