This mango salsa is a refreshing salad for summer or a colorful side dish for fall. It goes perfectly well with scallops, shrimp, or any white fish. The acidity of the lime, the sweetness of the mango, and the smoothness of the avocado make it also a great accompaniment for pork and veal.

It’s a dish full of vitamins! Mango contains a high level of vitamin C, fiber, and pectin that helps control high cholesterol levels. I’ve read that mango deeply cleans the skin and gives it a glow: an excellent reason to eat lots of mangoes. The avocado is a nutrient-rich food and contains nearly 20 vitamins and minerals. I can only see good reasons to eat this salsa!
